Why are we here? What is God? Looking for answers, I instead found more questions. At first I was perplexed, but soon realized that the questions were in fact the answers I was seeking. I paint the questions as visual prayers, koans of imagery and text that explore the nature of creation, self, ego, dark nights, new days, the tiniest seeds of life, the wondrous expanse of the universe, the separateness of it all, the connectedness of it all. Puzzles with pieces that fit together in more than one way, they serve to bridge the dust of everyday living with the dream of what can be. ~Leslie
