Biography
Leslie has been making art since she was old enough to hold a pencil. At the ripe young age of 15 she sold her first painting at a neighborhood art fair. Despite this early success, she was steered by family and circumstance towards a career in commercial art. At the age of 40, a fortuitous astrological transit and the collapse of the tech bubble helped free Leslie from corporate slavery. She has since devoted herself to her two great loves — painting and palm reading.
Leslie paints with acrylic in bold colors on textured grounds. An abstract painter for many years, she now includes more representational imagery in her work.
A recent transplant from Portland, Oregon, Leslie resides in Victoria, BC.
